Congratulations Anchorettes
2016 National’s Team
Dedication and sacrifice make great athletes and the Anchorettes are truly great athletes. While most young ladies are enjoying their summer break on the beach, in the mall or on vacation, our team dedicated their summer to practice in an air-conditioned gym (if we were lucky) or outside in the South Florida heat. The hours of practice paid off as we traveled again up to South Bend, Indiana for NBTA Nationals Baton Competition held at Notre Dame University. Again we competed against 20, 30 sometimes 40 teams and finished in the top ten in all events.
Special thanks to our amazing coaches who put so many hours of their time and energy into preparing the team for Nationals. Thank you to Kristina Buchholz and Carol Anne Horowitz for traveling to Notre Dame with the team. Huge thanks to Brooke Dingle and Katie Bolton for their dedication to the team. We missed you up in Indiana!
Our team/family wouldn’t be possible without extraordinary parents and our team is filled with such parents. Thank you for getting your twirler to ALL the practices and lets not get started on fundraising. You made our events FUN-raisers and successful.

One of my favorite memories will always be praying with the girls before we go on the floor. To say that I am proud of our team only scratches the surface of how much I feel for this team. “I can do all things through him who gives me strength.”

Extremely proud of these young ladies,
